Fridays and Saturdays.
Class times are from
7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Registration: Friday 6:40 - 7:00 a.m.
Two 8 hr. sessions for a total of 16 hours.

A Code class to help you
understand & comply with the 2023
National Electrical Code changes

  • This seminar is designed to assist any individuals currently working in the electrical industry.
  • Our objective is to expand your understanding of the 2023 National Electrical Code changes and illustrate how these new requirements will impact your everyday installations.
  • Through the use of the MWES booklet (provided at the seminar), a power point presentation (including site pictures), and class discussions, MWES will improve your understanding of the National Electrical Code requirements.

Note: Luke & Scott will co-instruct, webinar log-in information and MWES book will be sent to you before the webinar. (If registration is received by Feb. 4th, 2023). A certificate of completion will be mailed to you after the webinar.

Pre-registration is required to attend these seminars. Class sizes are limited and many of the seminars will fill quickly, so please register early.

The MWES Seminar Book

Each person that attends one of our seminars receives an MWES book containing many practical color illustrations. This book is designed to clearly illustrate the N.E.C. requirements and work hand-in-hand with the N.E.C. Code Book.


These seminars will satisfy the requirement for 16 hours of continuing education credit necessary to renew all MN electrical licenses.
Also approved for 16 hrs CE credit in IA, ND, NE and SD.

Expert Instructors

All MWES instructors are Class A-Master electrician license holders, approved by the MN Department of Labor & Industry as continuing education instructors.

Our instructor's expertise will provide a practical understanding of the N.E.C.

MWES reserves the right to substitute Instructors, reschedule, or cancel classes as may be necessary.

Seminar Fee

The $380.00 registration fee for in-person seminars includes;

Meals and refreshments:

  • Afternoon soft drinks

Seminar Materials:

  • Ballpoint pen
  • Highlighter
  • Certificate of completion
  • MWES booklet with many useful illustrations

Contractor & Company Discount
If three or more employees are registered at the same time
and paid in advance with a company check [no credit cards],
a discount of $20.00 per person may be deducted.
Contact us for discounts on groups of 10 or more employees.

Refund Information

Refunds or transfers to other MWES seminars will not be made unless requested in writing at least ten days prior to the registered class. All refunds and transfers are subject to a $50.00 administrative fee.
